Hello! I am a floral designer based in sunny San Diego, CA! I started this blog to document my own wedding journey, but since then, it has formed into a place to share my work, family, and musings I find inspiring from the vast creativity out on the world wide web .
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved crafting and making things (except food; I try, but even following the recipe it fails me). But making dream catchers, wreaths, hair accessories, candles, scrapbooks, quilts… tie-dying shirts, stenciling my room and then stenciling everything I had… I did that! I even created a book of fonts. Yes, I made my own fonts, complete A thru Z lettering (upper and lower case) for each font type, back in the mid ’90s. (I need to find and that book and blog about that!)
I’ve matured since then and free fonts are widely available online now. I have narrowed my craft to one medium as my art – fresh cut flowers. Don’t get that confused with Gardening. I don’t have a green thumb! Fresh cut flowers are a lot like food, ironically I say this, but simply true: it is to be enjoyed and experienced. Nothing makes me happier than to see my clients light up when they see all the décor, details, and flowers come together on their most special day. Every couple is different and unique and that’s what I love about every wedding.
My personal style could be described as: fresh, chic, playful, wild, and free! I would love the opportunity to meet you and design the event you envision. One of the greatest things about my job are the people I am blessed to meet. Thanks for visiting!
