Hi my bloggers! I’m back from my 10-day honeymoon and will share some pictures and contact those of you who contacted me before I left. But first, I wanted to share with you a great idea (in which I actually stole from my friend Mari’s wedding — credits to Mari!).
As you know, all your guests will be snapping pictures with their digital cameras from every angle! Starting an online photo album (designated for your wedding only) is a GREAT way to have your guests share their photos by uploading it to your album! I started a kodak.com account, designated for wedding photos before I left for my honeymoon (but if you have an account already or use a different service, just create a new ALBUM). By the time I got back, there were tons of fun pictures! You can set your account access as public or private. Here is some more information on your 2 setting choices:
Public site/album – give all your guests the link to the site/album in which you’ve specified settings for anyone toshare their photos by uploading to the site or album you’ve designated.
Private site/album – give all your guests the link to the site/album AND don’t forget to give them the login/password so that they have access to share their photos by uploading to the site or album you’ve designated.
Here is a sample email that I sent to all my tech savvy guests:
